The first passage I seek in a pity-me, self-serving prison memoir are the words such as "I'm sorry", "my fault", "forgive me"...As a co-author of one of these prison memoirs, I've learned the book doesn't ring true or sell) unless the subject is willing to be humble and rigorously honest. These corrupt souls write this book for themselves, to make a quick buck. Im not interested in their "Orange is the new Black" experiences so this book fell flat with me. No telethons for Mr Smith. Hes got the "con-fidence" to land on his feet. Im not buyimg his act nor any word of this book. Its another $20.00 and several hours Ill not get back...
